Avg cost for 2002 Ford Windstar SEL repair:Re-attach antenna connection,auto-start,DVD,alarm system wires?

When I bought this car used in 2004 (it was previously a fleet rental) the dealer had already put in a rear seat DVD player, but I had them add in a remote starter (which I couldn’t get without also getting an alarm system.) These add-ons have been troublesome over the years I’ve owned this car. The remote starter/alarm system and cheap after-market keyfobs ceased functioning on a regular basis, so after my 4 year extended warranty expired, I stopped getting it repaired and just used the key to enter the car. The radio reception has always been sub-par, but I was told by mechanics on several occasions that there wasn’t a problem with the connection – not that they ever checked. The dealership was in a reception sweet spot – 20 minutes away and I got almost nothing on my radio.
When I had new disc brakes installed and my tires rotated, during the test ride the car shook like there was no tomorrow, and all of a sudden I had no DVD, and virtually no radio (I get one local AM station that’s very "staticy" as long as I’m not driving too near to power lines or don’t have my defroster on).
All the fuses are fine. Hubby tried to get in there to plug the antenna cable back in, but stopped when he realized there was no easy way to pull out the radio panel. He told me it probably will require removing the whole dashboard to get to those wires – which likely explains why the dealership never wanted to deal with my radio reception issue.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of problem? Does anyone have an estimate for what fixing this might cost? All the problems I’ve stated are definitely related to the wiring, and I know that is usually very expensive.
