I bought a whole box of Viper Brains for 50 bucks from an Alarm shop. Warranty scrap from people who can’t program their remotes, and the techs couldn’t either. ha ha My little secret, Out of 37 Brains, 550esp, 881xp, 791xv, 850xv, 880xp, only 1 Brain was total Toast. Water damage. The rest all work. Harness, Satellite relays, a whole box of shit. I just put the 881XP on my lexus, remote start…works like a dream! not bad for 50 bucks Plus extra brains and remotes…and they Coded to my system

thats a sweet truck man. I’m getting the Viper 5901 installed on my car on tuesday. Is that the one you just upgraded to? Mine has the 1 mile range and the full LCD screen and an extra 1way remote

  • marker227:

I have a 5901, the 508D Radar Field Disturbance Sensor will extend it’s range to the bed as well?

  • cslix:

  • MrHotrodlincoln:

Very nice alarm. You’re lucky you didn’t have Best Buy fuck all your shit up like they did with me. They have dumb kids working at the one here.

  • marlon510:

    damn thats tight

  • dereileak:

I am putting the 5902 viper in mine, I am gonna finish installation tommorrow

  • karkraz:

So if I’m parked next to you at a grocery store, and I’m loading my car up in the back seat, I get to listen to your alarm for 3 minutes because you’re too overprotective?

And why doesn’t it have lock sensors? My factory alarm system has sensors on the hood, trunk, and each door, it goes off if any door is opened or unlocked, dome light, or opens the hood or trunk while it’s armed.

  • dereileak:

did you need a bitwriter to program the alarm to tell the brain that it had that connected to that, cause I have an audio sensor and I do not think it is working right now to as it acts like I need a bitwriter to program it in, is that correct?

  • anonymousSquid:

nice alarm setup i just bought a viper 5002, 2 way alarm with motion sensor and backup battery. hopefully it works as nice as your setup

  • dereileak:

don’t park next to him then

  • dereileak:

I got mine installed, it works really good, I ordered a proximity sensor like this guy, and a piezo siren to put in the car, next to the box to make your ears explode if you try and unhook it

  • Subzyr0:

So how do you park next to people and have it armed?

  • benzguylv:

    sweet ski mask lol

  • SPLBeast:

yeah what if someone parks nexts to it ?

  • Str8frmhell92:

    whoa

  • PrecisionConnections:

why didn’t you buy a black ski mask to match your black jacket instead of the red ski mask?

  • watchthisrobotmove:

i dont think anyone wants to take a dodge ram over here in florida. FAIL. nice alarm though.

  • eightbit3055:

Why do you say this because I like dodge rams and like to drive to Florida?

  • kirby902x:

hope your wearing ear plugs must be loud on the ears lol

  • watchthisrobotmove:

@ eightbit3055 no bro i wasnt serious about that..but theres no car theft that include dodge rams over here in the jacksonville area..at least thats what i know..speaking of which;theres really no car thefts happening either..if so then its in another vicinity in jax.

  • Acura Owner Manualshas a virtually endless list of manufacturers, models and vintages that is so comprehensive that you will find yourself trying to catch it out by looking for your old cars on there as well as downloading the guide for your current one. With this information to hand, all you need to concern yourself with is downloading the correct manual and keeping the information close to hand for the hopefully rare occasions when a fault occurs.
